This two-year-old SoMa Californian restaurant 1601 Bar & Kitchen debuts a new menu today featuring more Sri Lankan influenced dishes that are in line with chef-owner Brian Fernando’s original vision. Fernando started San Francisco off slow with a menu that played down the Sri Lankan funk and sour flavors, but the new menu is more unapologetically authentic and truly unique. Grand Hot Pot Lounge serves trendy, authentic Hot Pot and Szechuan Cuisine in the Inner Richmond District. Experience Szechuan cuisine in an intimate lounge setting at Grand Hot Pot Lounge. Aatxe is a restaurant and bar that celebrates regional Spanish cuisine and culture with an influence from the Basque Country. Aatxe (pronounced ahh-CHAY) with Ne Timeas Restaurant Group and The Bon Vivants is located on the street level of The Swedish American Hall in Upper Market neighborhood of San Francisco. Expect octopus salad, patatas bravas, and sherry-tinged cocktails from The Bon Vivants.
