2015 Kings Mountain Art Fair in the Redwoods: Saturday | Woodside

This cool mountain art fair in the Redwoods is happening all day on Saturday, September 5. There is no required fee in joining the the art fair. Feel free to bring yourselves and kids at the stunning location among the redwoods. There will be over 100 artists across a variety of mediums selected by a jury to exhibit.

2015 Lebanese Festival: Music, Dance & Food

Try Lebanese culture and cuisine in a great atmosphere, with music, dance, games and other entertainment perfect for the whole family this weekend. Also happening on Saturday from 10am to 9pm at the Downtown Redwood City. There will be a line up of professional Lebanese and Arab singers, musicians and dancers ready to entertain you. Free Shakespeare in the Park: Romeo & Juliet | The Presidio

For the 33rd season of Shakespeare in the Park, SF Shakes will present the first production of Romeo and Juliet since 1992, celebrating Shakespeare’s remarkable genre-defying play which soars to the heights of romantic comedy before plunging into heartbreak. The play is scheduled on Saturday at 2pm. This is free of admission! Start planning your itinerary to have a chance to try to visit some of these events.

2015 Brazilian Day Street Party | Berkeley

Another day-long street party celebrating Brazilian Independence Day with an annual lavagem (blessing) and procession for world peace, live Brazilian music and DJs, dancing, food, drinks, and lots of folks dressed in white. Scheduled on Sunday, September 6 at the Casa de Cultura in Berkeley from 9am to 7pm. Special guest from Brazil are Ballet Foclorico Da Bahia principal dancer – Ze Ricardo and Alvaro Reyes (Winner of Brazilian Dancing with the Stars).
